Yes, you are probably hearing it and thinking that social media is just a buzz word. Let me tell you that it is a tool that will take your business to a whole new level.
The power of social media allows you to connect with your audience and build relationships much faster than any other marketing tool.
As a business owner you were not capable 5 years ago reaching out to your customers like you can today. Thanks for social media sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blogs allows you to reach to a much greater audience.
Do you know what is happening to traditional methods of marketing? They are fading away slowly!
I know you are hearing it just like I am that newspaper company circulation is decreasing every single month. In some areas newspaper companies shutdown.
How about television? It’s decreasing as well!
What is happening? Most individuals are going to Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace to get their information. If your prospect are hanging out in Social Media sites. Shouldn’t you be there as well with them!
I know that some of you business owners that are reading this are probably saying I don’t have enough time to even visit any social media sites with my schedule.
Here is something to consider…Your prospect are hanging out in social media sites and they are your future customers.

Social media is truly a remarkable way to be marketing your business, and I agree, every business owner should have a presence there.
Unfortunately, the way most people do it is just so depressing……I am saying this coming from a perspective where my social media accounts are slammed with people’s offers and everything they want me to try out. This is NOT the way to market. At least, I would personally not consider such offers.
Social Media Marketing is definitely the way to go, but only if it is done right. It’s all about building value at the end of the day. Offer me something that I find valuable and I will definitely be interested.
Throwing your offer immediately to everyone you befriend is not the way to do it.
