I want to discuss link building strategies…I know that some of you reading this is thinking that both of these tasks are boring and at times might seem tedious.

But I do want you to realize that over time by staying consistent with link building and using targeted keywords you’ll be able to drive a good amount of activity to your business blog.

After all, who is going to argue with free targeted traffic.

Most common mistakes people make at the beginning when they start the journey of building backlinks is not taking the time to study it. So what I did I dug into my archives of resources I used when I launched this blog.

Here are some quick pointers to stick by when you are building your backlinks for your blog.

1. Search for relevant links:

You do realize that not all links are good.

Look for getting links from relevant blogs that are similar to your blog. This will give you more link juice.

2. Educate yourself how to search for competitors backlinks:

When you know where your competitors are getting their backlinks. It will help you identify some of the blogs that carry a high page rank. By having a link from a high page rank blog it will hold more value than a blog with low page rank.

3. Only focus on permanent links:

I’ve read from SEO forums where individuals where paying a monthly fee for linking services and cancel the subscription. I bet you can guess what happen next…

Their links got dropped. Which cause their ranking to drop as well.

When you take a look at your link building at first it may seem like wasted time. However, if you do it right at the beginning it will pay in the long run.
