How do you get ranked for more than one keyword on search engines?

I only rank well for a keyword that I use for my anchor text on links other than my own. I was wondering if I have to place multiple keywords on my post to get better ranking.

This is a very common mistake most individuals make when creating a blog or site to capture leads. You should optimize the post for no more than 1 – 2 keywords. You don’t want to drown your page or post with keywords because it won’t flow with the content. It will show that you are writing just for keyword placement.

Optimization is not just about keywords. It is also about how many links you have on the page structure.

Inbound links are the biggest factor attributed to rankings. You should attempt to point 2-3 links as possible anchored to a post that is optimize for that anchored keyword.
