I know that the average internet marketer is always looking for more traffic.
How great will it be if you had so much traffic that even your worst converting campaign still made you a profit.
I’m going to share with you a way that you’ll be able to increase your traffic. I’ll even say that you probably haven’t even tried it before.
I’m going to chat with you about…video marketing!
I know some folks are shy or afraid of doing a video and putting it out on the internet. What I’m going to cover is the easiest way to do a video marketing regardless if you are camera shy.
Understand that if you are an internet marketer and you start using video marketing you will drive more traffic.
Tools Required
Ok…Here are the tools you’ll need:
- Power Point Presentation
- Microphone
- Video Editing Software (I use Camtasia Studio)
The very first thing you’ll need to accomplish is to make sure your video is about something in your niche. When starting out, make sure it is something simple (for example: Top 3 ways to use Twitter)
Now that you have your topic. Go ahead write a little brief article what your video is going to be on. Then you’ll want to condense it into bullet point items. So you can put them on a power point slide.
Once you have your bullet list on a slide. Now, it’s time to use Video Editing Software.
- CamStudio (is free!)
- Camtasia Studio (you’ll have to buy it)
It’s time to start recording and put a voice over the presentation slides.
It can’t get any more difficult
Now, you have yourself a video to post or distribute. This is the simplest form of doing video marketing. It works and it’s effective.
It should take no more than 30 minutes to accomplish this. Even if it’s your first time.
Once completed just uploaded it to YouTube. Now you see how simple this video marketing can be.
I hope this shows how simple it is to take advantage of video marketing. The best part is that it will drive traffic to your business blog.
Go create your first video!
To Your Success,
Before you go, go ahead and share this with you friends on Twitter & Facebook by pressing the 2 little buttons on the top right (blue & green button)

Hey Josh,
As of right now, I use Jing Pro.
The key to video marketing is doing it. Your first video is vital because
• Your taking action
• It builds momentum • It’s a spring board for your confidence.
Have a great day.
Tommy D.
I’m a CamStudio user. After I capture the video, I edit it in Windows Movie Maker. The whole process to create a 2min video takes no more than 15mins. The results can be very powerful.
Like Tommy said, it’s just a matter of doing it. Everything comes good with practice and it’s OK to slip in a few um’s and uh’s – people know you’re human that way.
Take care my friend,
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for sharing Movie Maker (I believe that is Free with the Microsoft). I’ve never used it.
Creating a slide and recording your voice is a great way for anyone to get into Video Marketing. Not to mention, great way to generate traffic.
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
I love Camtasia! I have used it quite a bit, although not for YouTube videos. Mostly for videos on my primary website.
It is a great way to go if you don’t want to get in front of the camera, or if you want to stay on point. Cool beans!
Make it a great day!

Hi Susanna,
Camtasia rocks! There are videos that I produce where I use presentation slides and just record my voice for another business.
Have a great day!
Not only youtube, you can use Tubemogle (free) and Traffic Geyser (not free) to get the same video uploaded all over the internet.
Leverage the video.

Hi Dwayne,
That is the beauty about video you can syndicate it all over the web. Very…Very…Powerful!
Have a wonderful day!
Camtasia is one of the most powerful resources in video marketing. Even if one has to make his own videos it can be done with more and practice. And with that you start getting more comfortable and relaxed and videos starts becoming better and better.
Thanks for the post josh
Hi Yadvinder,
The great about just recording your voice over a slide. It’s just like if you are speaking to someone over the cellphone. Don’t have to worry about how you look.
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
I haven’t used Camtasia before but I noticed you use it quite a bit and I hear it is great. Thanks for the tutorial on this my friend.

Hi Wayne,
This is an easy & quick way to produce a video.
Have a great day!
Ok ok, now you have me convinced. I have been creating content forever, but I keep holding back on making a video.
@ Wayne- You are totally right. It’s all about just doing the very first video and using it as a springboard for the rest.
I know my first vid will probably suck, but if I don’t make that first sucky one I’m never going to make the next 100 awesome ones, right?
I will make it my goal this month. There, now I put it in writing.

Hi Joshua,
You’ll be amazed on how the first video will come out. My first one was done quickly, but took me a while to get it uploaded. Even if you just use a slide and speak over it. It draws attention and traffic.
Let me know when you create that video. Now, I’m holding you accountable for a video during this month.
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
Well said. Video marketing doesn’t have to be that hard and once you’ve “eaten the frog” it’s easy sailing from there.
The other part of video marketing is consistency. When I first started off I did a lot of video marketing and was seeing some great results. Then I stopped. Bad mistake because the results tappered off too.
I’m back in the game now because I’ve know consistently doing the same things that work can provide great residual results.
Have an awesome day brother,

I notice you are doing videos again. Great job! Heck, they work!
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
That’s an excellent idea of using power point and doing a voice over. With summer coming up, I don’t want to have to put makeup on to do a video so I’ll have to keep that in mind.
I’ve also seen people just use a picture of themselves although I’m not to sure what I think of that, it seems to work for this particular person.
Have a great day!

Hi Twila,
Creating videos with power point slides is just another tool to have when you don’t feel like being in front of a camera. That is a good idea! Have a picture in the beginning of the slide. Great jobs with your videos. You just added another great way to communicate with your audience.
Have a great day!
Hey Josh great post video marketing is one of the most effective ways to get YOUR face, brand, and voice all over the internet……POWERFUL, I here Traffic Geyser is one of the best video marketing tools out there also.

Thanks for stopping by! Traffic Geyser is a powerful tool. I don’t think there is anything out there that can compete with it. I’m sure someone will let us know.
I will take a look at your blog. I have your email so I’ll send you some info. I will go visit late tonight. I’m a night owl!
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
The powerpoint idea is where it’s at!
P.S. For all you Mac users out there, you can download Jing for free… You just have to keep the video to 5 minutes or less.

Hi Derek,
There is so much power in PowerPoint videos! Thanks for sharing that info for the Mac users.
Have a great day!
Does anyone use Snagit? I’ve been using them for a while (that’s Camtasia Studio right?)
In any case, video marketing on landing pages is effective I’d say because people aren’t overwhelmed by it like they are by long form sales letter style landing pages.
.-= Chris Guthrie´s last blog ..What I read in April =-.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for stopping by! It’s always nice to see a new face.
I’ve used Snagit in the past for screen capture. I’m not sure if that is a Camtasia product. But I do know that Camtasia Studio Rocks! It is easy to use.
Thanks for sharing that info about using video capture pages. I do know for some folks long sales letter styles are working great. For others it works great with short sales letter. This is something that needs testing with every niche product.
Have an awesome day!
Hmmm, great point! I yet have to “eat that frog.”
I do have a powerpoint in mind that I wanted to do for a long time. I’ll just have to get on my husband’s dance card to show me how it’s done.
Cheers, and have a great evening!

Hey Josh,
I’ve definitely been procrastinating. I’ve had problems with Windows Movie Maker so instead of finding a solution, I’ve been making excuses.
I will definitely download Camtasia and get a video made. Oh no, I just made a public confession. Now I have to do it. Thanks for the nudge:)

Hi Marcus,
I know you do a lot of video marketing yourself. I love Camtasia! Camtasia should have an affiliate program. I don’t think they have one.
Have a great day!
Hey Josh,
Camtaia is one cool piece of software!
Like you said doing powerpoints is a great way of making a video without getting on camera.
Another thing you can do is just record the screen looking at an article you have written and give it a quick 1-2 min verbal summery, super fast way to promote new posts.
Thanks,
