If you have a network marketing business, you need targeted leads. This is the lifeblood of your business. Getting leads can ruin you financially (literally because you have spent thousands on marketing and buying leads) or emotionally (if you do not have the skill to attract new business leads to you, it is soul destroying to hunt people down to try to sell your business to).
Where to get new business leads?
* You can buy leads. There are salesmen making a good living from the sale of business opportunity leads to lead depleted and desperate network marketers.
* You can use paid marketing strategies to get traffic. Try your hand at Google AdWords. Unless you know what you do, you can spend a fortune without getting results. Some keywords are popular and cost over $2 per click. Without having expert training on PPC, I can assure you that you will lose a lot of money on AdWords without ever getting a constant flow of new business leads. (If you have at least a budget of $1000 and want to use pay-per-click advertising then get quality training like PPC domination before you start marketing)
* You can find leads offline using offline methods of cold calling, buying genealogy lists, contacting your warm market, print media advertising, flyers, exhibitions, banner signs or contacting friends and family. This can still work for a few people in the home business industry, but it is time to work smart and more efficient. I suggest you do too!
* You can learn to use an attraction marketing system as a lead generation tool and use free strategies or paid marketing strategies to attract pre-qualified prospects into your sales funnel that will ask to join your network marketing business.
There are many systems available to use for lead generation, but the most important system is YOU. You must understand that you are your business and unless you start behaving the leader you know you are, you will not be successful to sponsor one prospect into your home business even if someone gives you 20 free business leads per day.
Why is it a problem to buy leads?
Most leads you buy are business opportunity seekers. People that are not convinced of the network marketing industry. They are looking for an opportunity and they are not convinced about the industry yet. They are committed to continue looking for an opportunity.
No paid strategies for newcomers
A newbie has no clear picture how to market your business. Most new network marketers has spent whatever they had on starting a business and because of that desperately need to make money. They are anxious to sponsor someone in their business. This is not a good place to learn.
I suggest to pick one free marketing strategy and using it to master your marketing skills. To master a strategy means you consistently create between 10 and twenty daily leads using ONLY that one strategy. As you learn and master the strategy, you will also learn about yourself, learn how to overcome difficulties, learn about perseverance, learn to focus and learn from your mistakes. All natural and part of the growth required to become a great network marketing entrepreneur.
If you make mistakes and it cost you $100′s per shot without any results, I can give you a promise that you will become more anxious and so will your mindset of need. Using a free marketing strategy is a friendlier environment for learning and training as a new network marketer.
