Hey Josh

Looks like you are taking over video marketing.

Good tips for newbies. They must also be aware that it will take time to generate the traffic in the ways you have stated, but it is free traffic and it will be very targeted traffic. Along the way they will learn a lot from other people blogs and make great relationships with them and their followers!

Being involved in communities is certainly the best way to drive traffic to your blog. Give and you shall receive is always at work.

Relationships, relationships, relationships – we should call it relationship marketing, for that’s exactly what it is. Going back to the good old word of mouth marketing, just through different channels.

Great post, Josh.

Hey Josh,

That is how I got started.
I can’t explain how important it is
to develop that relationship with your
list.

I tell people who do you speak to every day?
Your family, right? So if you email your list everday
with something valuable like a blog post, before you
know it they will be looking for that post everyday.

These are perfect ways for a new or veteran blogger to get more traffic to their blog. Every tip you talk about, like leveraging your email list, really makes a difference in the amount of traffic. I’ve also seen spikes as well when I send posts out to my subscribers.

really cool tips because these are organic methods to build your traffic slowly and slowly,
whereas ppc, banner ads, online press release will build as long as you use them and ofcourse money is also required for them. cool post.

Hi Yadvinder,

It’s a great way to build your traffic with a targeted audience. Yes it’s slower, but who is going to argue with free traffic.

Hey Josh,

Great tips here. I myself am a strong believer in PPC for fast traffic and SEO for continuing free traffic. But I also know the importance of other free traffic techniques.

I think it is more dependent on your desire and budget. But sometimes you just have to take a leap and make a budget happen.

Hi Chris,

Typically new people that start out with they business blog don’t do anything but let it sit there hoping someone will stumble on it. These strategies are perfect to start generating traffic.

As well most business owners don’t take the time to educate themselves about SEO or PPC when they are to busy running their business.

Have a great weekend!
