I’m continuing from yesterday’s post as one of the success tips were…Is Your Personality… Let me begin with the ‘Choleric’: their intent is to overcome and conquer. These personality types are the true closers, and are not going to take no for an answer
The choleric are also known as the ‘Dominator’. Considering the poor economic environment that we are seeing right now, the choleric are the ones who can usually pick themselves up during the tough times (when the going gets tough, the tough get going) because they are self starters who are positive and self sufficient.
When you are building your team and you are using attraction marketing. You want to be able to identify these individuals quickly.
Being the center of attention and ‘in charge’ is what the choleric desires. So when you have a choleric on your team, you need to give them their space and independence. Make sure you give them the freedom to run things and do not micro manage them.
High Points Of A Choleric…
Choleric are extremely direct, so you need to be prepared that they will ‘tell it like it’. They’re very demanding of themselves, and therefore expect the same from others. People with this personality thrive when faced with a challenge and welcome competition.
Choleric are not satisfied with the status quo and prefer variety and adventure. This can lead a choleric getting bored easily which makes them prone to making changes. If you are a choleric it is important to constantly stay involved in your business to ensure you don’t lose interest.
How To Keep A Choleric Motivate…
Because of their high competitive, creative contests will help motivate and keep their interest. Choleric need their success to be acknowledge openly and frequently. Their egos enjoy being elevated.
Another key point to keep in mind when working with a choleric they can tolerate criticism, so make sure you let them know that their overbearing manner can be a detriment when dealing with prospects.
Knowing what a choleric personality is like. Now, you know how to work with them or if you are a choleric you need to learn how to tone it down when dealing with the other personalities.
It is important to know this information when you are dealing with a business that deals with people. As you build your network marketing business identify the choleric quickly and be straight forward with them.
