SEO copywriting is a skill that needs continuously improvement so you can get top search engine ranking.
Since search engines send out their ‘spiders’ or ‘crawlers’ it is important to have good and unique content.
Areas that need to be focus first are title, heading and keywords in an article or post. These are very important for SEO copywriting and vital in increasing the visibility of a blog or site on the internet.
The number one objective should be to write unique content because all of the search engines love it. By having unique content that educates and explains information properly with the proper keywords will rank high. The flip side of that, content that is duplicate the ‘spiders’ will not give it a higher ranking.
One of the most important element in SEO is the title. The title is what people read first and as well the ‘spiders’. Therefore the best approach would be to have the keyword included in the title.
Having the proper keyword along with an eye catching title will draw more individuals to your content. Which increases the traffic to your blog or site. It is important that the title matches the content of your post.
Something that I learn, is usually the ‘spiders’ crawl the first third of your post or page. Therefore by having sufficient keywords it helps it to crawl page easily. Now, you don’t want to go overkill here.
It is good to get in the habit of having your keyword in your title and first paragraph. By achieving this it helps out getting higher search engine ranking. Then spread the keyword through the post or article. By handling it this way it let’s the ‘spider’ check the rest of the article or post.
Keyword is very important for SEO. Do keep in mind you don’t want to overkill the keyword in your post. If you do, it will lose value. Knowing how to play the game is an art.
By just following these simple SEO copywriting secrets you will have readers reading your material, ‘spiders’ crawling all over your blog, and ranking on search engines.

Learning SEO is something nobody can should take lightly. It is a must!

Hey Josh,
SEO is definitely an art form like you said. Whether your researching a keyword or figuring out where to use it in your content, intuition definitely plays a HUGE part and is something you learn from doing.
Also, it is easy to lose sight of keyword placement when you are creating your content. Something that needs to be on the top of your mind constantly. I know I can easily forget about it when I start writing a post or article.
Chuck
Hi Chuck,
Thanks for stopping by! Yes, it’s like a juggling act. You have to write good content at the same time not forgetting your targeting keyword.
Have a great day…
Josh

Great tips Josh!
I started “cheating” and using a tool that analyzes my posts, but the tool always suggests the things you were saying in this post, so I can vouch for that
Hi Derek,
Thanks for the great word! So does that mean you are going to return your tool back?
Enjoy buddy…
Josh
Josh,
That is probably the most informative and instructionally clear post I have ever read on SEO. I love the way you can take a complex subject like SEO and break it down into its most basic components. Thanks again
Hi Peter,
Thank you for your comment!
I like to keep things simple around here. If it gets complex then I won’t understand myself.
Have a great day…
Josh
Don’t make me come to Florida and drop the elbow off the top rope. Are you following me around?
To many peeps don’t understand the big bag SEO stuff, especially me. One thing I am not always in agreement with is having to have the keywords in the title. I always try and most of the time make it work, but if you don’t have a clickable title, the best copy in the world doesn’t make a bit of difference.
The title of anything must be intriguing enough to get people to read or watch or the rest is insignificant. I will let my SEO suffer a little if it means having a title that people will actually click on and get to the content.

Hey Eric,
SEO is a science that needs to be learn. Once you understand the formula, you can have some serious traffic. I understand not all the time you can make the title intriguing with the keywords. However, about 85-90% of the time it can be done. That’s when you become the Master Ninja SEO.
Hi YA!
Good points, Josh.
Always start with your headline. Get your keywords and then, get creative. I’m always referencing different sources to get more mileage out of my headlines.
Copyblogger is a great resource, but if you want a master class in copywriting, take a look at the Gary Halbert Letter archives. Gary is no longer with us, but his newsletters are.
A virtual treasure trove of amazing copy, if you’ll take the time to read and use it.

Mike Paul
Hi Mike,
I’m going to check out Gary’s stuff. Thanks for dropping that information in the comment.
You are the best…
Josh
Valuable SEO tips here Josh. Thank you. Keywords make all the difference between whether your posts are found or not and if they’re not there’s not much point in writing them.
Marcus Baker
Hi Marcus,
Once I understood the importance of keywords. A light bulb didn’t go off…the football field lights went off. Since I like to relate with my readers that would be the Rugby field lights went off!
Have a wonderful day my friend…
Josh
Hey Josh,
You found my sweet tooth. These are my two favorite subjects, SEO and Copywriting. Copywriting comes first of course. But SEO is unbelievably important too.
The thing to remember is that people are going to read your work too. Sometimes I click on a post and feel like I am being transformed into a google bot. I want to feel something when I read. So that is how I write. The SEO keywords is the best that I can do without messing with my article flow.
Great information Josh
Chris,
Copywriting does come first because someone is going to be reading the material not just some bot out in cyberspace. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hey Josh!
Just like Twila said between you and Eric, really great stuff. I have been reading everything that JB has and now hooked over at ChrisOwenAcademy.com.
I am just starting to really study Copywriting and SEO, I know how important it is and will take advantage of all the information that is available.
Hopefully you are reading this and we are all getting a head start commenting over on JB! Lol.

Hi Tommy,
Really understand Copywriting and SEO because there is nothing better than having free traffic and free leads. Yes, you can create a massive traffic and leads with the paid route. But it is nice to have your information floating on the search engines for a while.
BTW…In order to have a head start at JB. You’ll need to have at least 5 Tommy’s working it. LOL
Have a great weekend in NYC…

It’s been my loss for not having made it over here sooner! Seems that swinging a hammer in one hand while hammering away on this keyboard with the other takes some serious time management.
You can be sure I’ll be a regular now that we’ve been so formally introduced
Hey Josh, have you heard the latest? Seems Tim Erway has the real scoop on old Jason Better…He claims there’s good evidence our beloved Jason is really “Leslie”.

The plot thickens…
We’ll keep you posted.
