4 Simple Strategies I Apply For Writing Content Everyday…

by Josh Garcia on May 12, 2010

Writing Content Everyday

This is a question that comes up pretty often.

How do you come up with great writing content everyday?

When you understand that having good written content on your blog is the foundation.

Other factors come along with it, people will visit your blog daily so they can learn something and apply it.

Let me share with you 4 simple strategy that you can apply to write perfect content everyday for your blog.

1. Research your target audience. It helps out to know what are some of the questions that your target audience is asking. If you have a niche area write down on a file the needs of what people are looking for.

You can find these questions by visiting forums and see how many times questions are being ask. Don’t forget to do some keyword research as well when gathering this info for SEO Copywriting.

2. Give your best information. By you providing your audience the best information, you will be different from everyone else. At first you will question it or even be afraid too. But here is the deal, you want to build long-term trust with your readers.

If you are providing top notch quality info. Then people are going to make it worth while to visit and read. It builds your readership.

3. Keep your readers on your blog. The simplest way to accomplish this, is by including links to other post you’ve written. Not only is this good for SEO and creating backlinks within your post.

Your readers will have the ability to read similar content you’ve written. The key is to provide links to relevant subject. This will allow you to maximize the readership within your blog.

4. Optimize your blog ranking. When you provide content everyday you are optimizing your blog for search engines. Understand that not just people are going to read your content. The search engines sends out ‘spiders’ to read your content for SEO purposes.

There you have it! Simply follow these 4 guidelines when working on your blog and your readership will increase every single day.

Hi Josh,

Well if I would have known you were going to post this today, I would have mentioned it in the video I posted today. ;) They sort of go together… a little.

I hear this same concern a lot, people not thinking they will be able to find things to blog about, so they don’t blog. Not a good thing.

Great post!

I want to Thank everyone for giving me heads up about not being able to comment and getting an ‘Error 404′. If you are able to read this that is a good thing. The problem got fixed. :)

Hey Josh,

404 Error hey? That’s a rarity these days.

Reading other people’s blogs can give you plenty of inspiration for blogging material. Writing from your own personal experiences can really engage your audience.

Your Step 3 can be easily accomplished by using a Related Posts plugin, but I also recommend manual linking too.

Hi Wayne,

I had a problem with my permalinks. An extra space at the end. That’s what happens when you mess with it. Having the Related Post is great. However, I’ve found that by having links within the post creates more clicks.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Josh,

Great post. It can be difficult to think up content each day but your post will help out alot of people including me. On point 3 can you recommend a good plugin for linking to your other post?

Hi Tristram,

Thanks for stopping by! Love seeing new faces hanging out here. :)

The best plugin that I’ve come across is “Related Post (YARPP).” Just like I mentioned to Wayne, the best habit to get into is to create links within the article itself. It creates backlinks and search engines like them. Just make sure it is related to what you are discussing within your article.

Have a wonderful day!

These are great. When I’m looking for opportunities in what to write about so that I can consistently deliver, I watch and listen to what other leaders are doing.

You’ve had your share of inspiring me Josh.

hey josh,
Cool tips as always from your side. I fancy tip no 1 the most without the target
market it is just like selling beef to a vegetarian. So the backlinks should be at the right places. thanks for the post

Josh Garcia May 12, 2010 at 1:18 pm

Hi Yadvinder,

I wonder how that would go trying to sell beef to a vegetarian…Not to far!

Hey Josh,

Hope this works.

I have been trying to come up with interesting topics to
link it to network marketing. So far, so good. I have been
getting major traffic.

Even if your off your target audience, you can still find a way
to link it together.

Copywriting is so important, I see very good blogs out there
and their copywrite stinks. It is a struggle to get through long
articles but with copywrite strategies, its a whole lot easier.

Hi Tommy,

Thanks for informing me about the commenting issue. As you can see I had to uninstall CommentLuv. Have to see why that was causing an issue.

The article you crest with the Transformer movie was good. That is not easy taking a movie and tying it with business.

Have an awesome day!

Hi Josh,

I really hope it works this time. Have been trying at least twice today already. I know it’s more frustrating for you than me. So here we go …

Thanks for this great information! Especially #3 is something I often forget so thanks for the reminder.

Cheers and have a great day!

Hi Ilka,

Yes, it’s working!

#3 is important because search engines keep record as how long people stay on your blog or site. The longer they stay the better your stats will be. If you have an analytics tool installed it will keep track of the average time visitors stay on your blog.

Have a wonderful day!

Josh Garcia May 12, 2010 at 5:47 pm

OK…I think I have it resolved. I had to uninstalled CommentLuv and install Captcha Code.

I’ll try to figure out how to use Captcha with CommentLuv! I love using CommentLuv.

Sorry for the inconvenience champs!

Hey Josh,

A few times, I’ve come up with a series of posts on a topic — like how to create a Facebook Fan Page, for example.

Let me tell ya, it is EASY to write this way — it’s a very focused approach and people like to come back to read the whole series.

Another thing I do is watch the forum gossip — you can get a lot of ideas there, that’s for sure.

Reply

Josh Garcia May 13, 2010 at 11:21 am

Hi Derek,

Thanks for bringing that up. Writing a series is a great way to keep readers coming back for the next section. I know you are good at that.

Josh,

We both know that traffic is important – and that without traffic you don’t have a business. – But number 3 stuck out to me because it’s as important to know How To Keep Your Visitors Coming Back For More!

New traffic is cool – but when you start getting repeat traffic, that’s when you know you’re doing something right..

Good stuff.

You are correct about keeping you existing readers. You worked to get them there now it’s your job to keep them there. They are the life blood of a blog. That is why I appreciate all the readers that visit on a daily basis. I’m not just talking about the ones that comment. I’m talking about every single one. ;)
