One of the most common mistakes individuals make in the Network Marketing industry – They forget to close the door of their past. You see my friends you can never plan your future by the past. Have you ever noticed that those to whom yesterday still looks big, aren’t doing much today? If you fall in this category…Quit getting hung up on your past accomplishments or failures. Some of you are so hung up on your past or present that you’re not able to see your future. If you are not able to see your future, how are you going to be able to understand your marketing for your business? In other words, how are you going to be able to attract prospects properly to you?
When it comes to marketing/prospecting I like to listen to people. I specifically like to listen to the percent of time they spend talking about the past, present, and future. I have found that those who predominately talk about the present are typically maintaining. But those who are talking about the future are growing. My question to you, who are you listening to? It is easy to get lost in this world of Web 2.0. I know this for a fact, because I was lost when I started to grow my online business couple of years back. Some people stay so far in the past that the future is gone before they get there. That is why they get stuck in a hole.
Online / Network Marketing frightens only those who prefer to live in the past. Living in the past is such a waste of energy that you won’t be able to build on it. When building your Online / Network Marketing business understand that the world is in your hands. Close your fingers, tighten your grasp; don’t open your hands and let things slide through your fingers. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. All you’ve got is the future. The past is over. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or I’ve done, it’s over. The door is closed! We can’t change the past. From now on tomorrow is what counts – step out on faith.
Start putting your marketing together and don’t look back at your past failures. Learn a couple of SEO tactics and start a PPC campaign to start generating leads for your Online / Network Marketing business. Don’t let the words HTML, PHP, Web Page, or Blog scare you. You don’t need to know it and still create an online marketing presence.
Remember don’t rely on the past. You leave your past behind with a new dream. Is it going to take work? Absolutely! But you’ve got to start some place. You can’t allow the do-nothings to tell you what your future is. Go out there and conquer the world of marketing for your Online / Network Marketing business.
