Increase Online Traffic

What is your focus…Online Traffic or Writing Content?

If you are anything like me, when I launched this blog. I was monitoring every single stat that was available.

I kept asking myself, “Where is the traffic?”

So I started studying all kinds of traffic generation methods by reading books, purchasing products, and attending live webinars.

Is it all worth it…You BET it is!

I learned a lot on how to generate traffic. But the most important factor was not about generating traffic. It was about Writing Content.

I know writing content does not come easy for everyone. It didn’t for me in the beginning. There are individuals that can whip out high quality content quickly.

It doesn’t matter if it takes you hours or minutes to create content. The important component is to create QUALITY sought out content.

I want to make sure you understand that you don’t have to become a master copywriter to write high quality content. If you understand just the basics of copywriting you have a head start than most individuals.

Click on the play button. I recorded a short audio for you…

Hi Josh

I agree that great content can take you places. In our niche, human readers are what matter more than SEO bots. Writing creatively and putting forth your ideas in the best possible manner requires great creativity. But eventually, persistent efforts will surely pay.

Great Post.

Katherine

Josh,
Great post man and great words of encouragement. You are so right about emulating but not totally copying leaders in our niches to see what their strategies are. I really enjoyed this hope the coffee’s good there.

Hey Josh,

Great post and you’re right – QUALITY is the key.
Individual techniques will sometimes work and can be effective to a certain degree, but providing QUALITY – which in this situation is synonymous with VALUE – is the only way to consistently attract new and repeat visitors.

Quality means you don’t disappoint those who become regular visitors. As a total beginner only a matter of months ago I found this to be the challenge. But with people around you so willing to help it becomes less difficult as time goes on. I did find it more of a struggle at first while I was observing. I showed a few posts while still developing the blog but when people start arriving you have to respond by keeping the content flowing. Great reinforcement Josh and I will be giving the writers at copyblogger.com more recognition for what they are able to achieve in helping others.

Hi Josh,

Content is king. No doubt about it. If you want to check out my thoughts about marketing copywriting and marketing in general, have a look at my blog.

There are a lot of tricks to generate traffic but long term, repeat visitors should always be the goal. The only way to get there is genuine, valuable content.

Thanks very much,

Hi Josh,

Content Marketing is called this for a reason. Unless we are proving quality content one is effectively not marketing anything so what’s the point of that? Great post, thanks.
