Business Blog

Do you have a business blog?

You are seeing and hearing that business blogging is worth it. Most likely hearing fortune 500 companies are jumping into the blogging sphere.

You are most likely asking yourself… Do I need to have a blog?

The truth is having a business blog is a very simple way to stay connected with your prospects and customers. Not to mentioned it allows you to create new prospects and build a relationship.

If you are running a business, I don’t care what kind of business you are running. You will be able to generate new business with a business blog.

Not to mentioned, having a blog will allow you to develop a strong presence online and build a strong brand.

Here are some statements I get from business owners about starting a business blog:

– I don’t know where to start?
– I don’t have the time to manage a blog.
– I started a business blog and it is too much work.
– I need help and don’t know where to go?

I can keep going on… Here is what I say to individuals that say this:

As you are making these excuses, your competition is generating new leads and building an online brand for their niche. Is there any more excuses?

My friends, there are individuals and companies that are doing extremely well because they know individuals are making these excuses and preventing themselves from succeeding.

If you want to discuss about owning a business blog go ahead and connect with me on Facebook or call me at 866-291-4787.

Owning a business blog is a MUST for every single company and business owner.

In my eyes, there is no better tool to create a presence online and having a business blog is a perfect tool.

A blog will allow you to educate and communicate with your audience. As you are communicating with your audience, you are building trust with them.

As you are posting and educating your audience. Your visitors will soon start seeing you as an expert in your niche or field.

If you want to update individuals with current happenings in your niche, a business blog is the best tool.

Here is a tip that I’ll provide you with: As you develop regular post, individuals will trust your business, and be willing to use your services or purchase from you.

My advice is to take this week and consider having a business blog if you currently don’t have one. It is a great way to establish an online presence and build trust with new prospects. If you are looking at expanding your network… You must own a  BUSINESS BLOG!

Josh,

Blogs are incredibly easy to set up, thus making it an absolute must for any serious business owner. Even if it’s just to tell people, “hey, we’re legit!”, that becomes very important. I don’t know how many times I’ve actually went online and couldn’t find a website so I said, “nope. not going there, they don’t even have a website!”. Yikes!

Nice post.

I like that… Have a blog to tell people “We’re Legit!”

I’ve done the same thing Mark. Especially since moving to a new area, I’ve had to look a lot of things up online. I’m shocked at how many businesses have either NO online presence, or a very low quality one.

Anyone that wants to be taken seriously needs a blog, or a website in general for that matter. It’s all about professionalism in the real world. You’ve got to have the things needed to stay competitive.

I myself use my blog as the nerve center for all my content. It’s where everything goes first and where all the content originates from. Nice blog by the way.

Best Wishes,

I wished I had a blog when I first opened my small business. I’m now sure that not having any means of promoting online was the downfall for my 1st business. But it’s a live and learn situation. On my next business venture, I will definitely have a business blog for my business. It’s a MUST!

I couldn’t agree with your post more. Every small business should have a blog to talk about why they are great and why we should buy from them instead of BigBoxMart. Blogs have a powerful effect when it comes to increasing your search engine rankings too. Using a blog to your advantage can be a great business asset.

Josh,

This is some solid advice.

I was talking to a friend about blogging, he has one on his site but never
uses it.

I explained to him the importance and finally put 2 & 2 together.

I wish more people would understand the importance, but then
again that is why there are people like us to help explain.

Happy New Year my friend!

Hey Josh

Any business in this day and age that doesn’t have a blog is leaving huge revenue on the table for their competitors (the ones with blogs) to snatch up.

I have also noticed some “big named gurus” have a blog but don’t manage their blog as effectively as they should. I know they are making a lot of money doing whatever it is they are doing but imagine how much more they could be making if they just managed their blog better.

Hi Josh!

Happy New Year!

Putting up a business blog is not a luxury anymore in this day and age; it’s a necessity. We have come a long way and we should have a shared space in the Internet to begin with. The crucial determiner of success in having a business blog, however, is not just in putting it up and then getting it done and over with. Business blogs should be lovingly maintained to connect with one’s customers and this is where, sadly, most businesses fail.

Here’s wishing that the business blogging community this 2011 will be re-energized towards success!

Cheers!

Hey Josh,

So essential. Almost any business will benefit from having a blog. For a whole host of reasons, a blog is either better than, or the perfect compliment too a static website, not least because they’re easy to set up and maintain.

Also, blogs encourage discussion, conversation and relationship building which is at the heart of any kind of networking business.

Great post my friend, wish you all the best for 2011. Happy New Year!

Hi Josh!

I have to agree with you that building a business blog is critical to success in business! It’s been the best thing I could have done for my business, both for my online marketing and for my offline marketing. Sounds strange, but building my blog has given me skills that I can apply to so many other areas of my business and life, and connecting with other bloggers and learning from them, has given me a huge education in a short amount of time. That makes me more valuable to the people I’m attracting into my business and places my services in higher demand.

As for the people who are making excuses as to why they’re not blogging…it’s not for everyone. It does take commitment, hard work, tenacity to stick through the challenges and learning curve…but I’d tell them that they can either stay safe and limit your businesses’ growth our they can push through those excuses and play with the big kids! 🙂

Excellent post!

Hey Josh, with so many people getting online today I agree with you, every business should have a presence on the web and certainly creating a blog is the best way to do it.

My blog has done better than my website and I attribute that to writing more and being more specific with my blog posts.

It’s really about being consistent, informative and inciting interest. It’s a big commitment but well worth it 🙂
