Hey Josh,
Love the second half!
One of the things I stress was the uniqueness factor, so I’m really glad you touched on that too.
Sure we may see some of the same topics, but everyone has their own way of delivering them. No one can be you.
You have all those down and I always enjoy stopping by your blog.
Thanks for more powerful content!
Susanna
Hi Susanna,
You and I can have the same topic but at the very end it is still different. That is the beauty about being yourself. There is no one out there that can be you. Have a great weekend!
Hey Josh,
I sat at my computer with a pen and pad for both parts 1 and 2. I am just starting in the blogging world and it is post like this that mak me excited and keep me motivate to keep working hard at this. Though it can be hard t judge if you are doing all the 10 things you listed atleast I have a list now and I can keep checking it as best as I can.
Ian
Hi Ian,
We all have to continue working to reach to the next level. The moment you think you are at the top. That is when you’ll discover that you can be stretch to another level. Thanks for stopping by and keep your winning spirit high.
These are great Josh!
I have to admit that I am currently lacking on the #7 Dependibility. I was very diligent for a while, and then basically dropped off the map for the last few months. I could blame the fact that I have been traveling non-stop but I should have probably figured out a plan before it all started to make sure 1) either my readers were aware or 2) I posted content regularly still.
Thank you for the great content once again Josh!

Hi Michael,
That is very simple to correct. Just create a plan that you can stick with and don’t let anything get in your way.
I must agree that these reasons play a huge role in how successful your blog is.
However, they are very subjective. Do you think qualities like these (likability, commanding respect) can be learned or is it either you have it or you don’t?
Would love to hear your opinion, Josh, as well as opinions of your readers.
Best,

Hi Ana,
Absolutely these traits can be learned. I don’t believe that some have it and some don’t. Everyone has the seed of greatness within themselves. Some need more training than others. In other words, some might need more watering, sunlight, and nurture than others. But at the end they will be shining just like the rest of the champions out there. With the proper personal development and mentors anyone can be likable and gain the respect they deserve.
Great post! You really have to be consistent if you want a good following. I look at it like a conversation. If you just stop talking then they stop talking. Have a great weekend! Look forward to your posts next week.

Hi Keysha,
You are correct about staying consistent. This is a main ingredient in success.
Hey Josh,
Good job.The only one on your list that I might question is likability.
Some people won’t like you no matter what you do. I think just being yourself, you will attract to you, those that “get you”.
Take care,
Neil
.-= Neil´s last blog ..Working From Home – I’m not there yet =-.
Hi Neil,
That is fine if someone doesn’t like you for how you are. Especially if you know you are doing the right things. For everyone person that doesn’t like you have 20 who do.
Great job! These 5 are certainly solid reasons why blogs can be popular.
A couple of them (exciting / likability/respect) really seem to me to be about finding your “voice” as a writer/blogger and being able to communicate that to your followers consistently.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
It is important to find your own voice. When you do…people will be able to relate with you better.
Great continuation to part 1 Josh.
Absolutely loved what you said about being unique and having sticktoitiveness. That one is very important for me, to ensure that really does shine through.
You do this exceptionally well, no doubt about that.
Have a great weekend,

Hi Jerome,
Thanks! You are doing an awesome job with maverickbusinessblog.com
Hi Josh,
Great stuff, once again! I loved how you said that people can copy your content, but they can’t copy you. That’s why it is so important to be uniquely you and develop your own style.
Loved it! Need to watch it again and take notes
Have a great weekend!

Hi Heather,
You follow all ten…There is no doubt you’ll have a popular blog. I’ve seen what some of the popular blogs that receive 1000′s of visit a day, all have 10 attributes.
Josh,
Alright the missing pieces of the piece puzzle.
I like the point made of let you be you. People may imitate something you initiate but they never take away the most important component YOU.

I love how you put it! I’m glad that you enjoyed your popcorn and the short video.
Hi Josh,
I enjoyed the second half of your tips. Blogging is fun but it requires work and commitment to make sure that you are doing all the things you have mentioned. If you want a blog that is popular and effective then you have to make it priority in your marketing mix.
~Marcus
Hi Marcus,
It sure does require work and commitment.
Great series Josh
What a challenge, to achieve all ten traits.
But in the end nothing beats good content, like the stuff you produce Josh.
Thanks for the videos.
Hi Peter,
You are correct! Nothing beats great content…
Hi Josh,
thanks for an exciting 2nd part. You are definitely practising what you’re doing.
Keep up your great work my friend.

Even more reasons you are sharing here. I must say I love part 2.

Hey Josh,
Good stuff man. You’re conveying a very strong message to be yourself, and work yourself into someone that others know and like. Loved the bit about going fast… The good thing is, it doesn’t take too much to do that – just gotta keep up with what’s happening in the industry.
Take care,
